This is the fifth year of activity of the Foundation, and we are pleased to say that we can make an excellent assessment of how the academic year went. This year we have collaborated with six entities, through which we have continued to grant scholarships to students who were continuing their studies, or we have given scholarships to new candidates who were starting their educational journey beyond the compulsory studies.
Although we must preserve the anonymity of the scholarship recipients, we can make a small summary of the year: we have given scholarships to 13 students, 12 of whom have successfully completed the educational challenge they had envisioned, were it to complete a Higher Degree Formative Cycle, start one, or take the PAU exams to enter university.
More specifically, among these 12 youngsters, there are those who have successfully completed their university course and will continue to study the next course to obtain a Degree. There are also several cases that have finished high school and taken the PAU tests to continue with university studies next year – among these, some will no longer need our scholarship because thanks to their grades they can continue by their own means. Among other success stories, we have boys and girls who have finished the studies they had in mind and are now entering the workforce with a job contract in their field of expertise. It is very exciting to see how these young people have taken advantage of the opportunity provided and now they can follow their path towards a better future.
From here, we want to congratulate them for their tenacity and effort. To the entities we collaborate with, we thank them for their work, which is so necessary and sometimes unfairly invisible. And finally, we owe it all to our donors, without whom none of this would be possible. We hope that this small summary of successes will encourage you to continue working with us.
